Buy Us, For You, By Us is a locally-inspired look at urban planning and lifestyle marketing. The open-concept space features the debut of DRP, an artisanally-curated unisex streetwear line featuring locally-sourced organic materials. Buy Us, For You, By Us will also offer scheduled barbershop services (trims only), allowing for community contributions towards future editions of DRP designs. Visitors are also welcome to stop by the official DRP workshop where lead designer David Roth will be producing new works that are well-suited for both private collections and the socially-conscious style hunter. All DRP originals will be available for purchase both in-house and through our online shop, When I DRP, You DRP, We DRP. Limited edition prints of DRP editorials will also be exhibited and made available for photo and fashion enthusiasts alike. By Us, For You, By Us is a community space, dedicated to conversations about fashionable innovation, socially-progressive consumption and what quality means to you.
David Roth’s practice is the product of his economic surroundings. Raised in an expensive city and surrounded by financial excess with limited personal means, David decided to study the relationships between private wealth, artistic worth and social value. David produces installations that act as stages where he performs comic versions of achieving artistic and financial success. As an economic comic, David wholeheartedly attempts achievement to the point of absurdity, encouraging audiences to re-think how they understand worth and value.
